Last year, Santa used a red Toyota Tundra in Vernon to collect and bring toys to less fortunate children and bring up on the success, he will have two pickups this year for the same job.
Vernon Toyota will have two trucks around town for the second annual TOYota Drive campaign. The Christmassy-decorated red Tundras will be parked around town being used as collection points for anyone who wants to donate new, unwrapped toys for the Salvation Army.
Last year, the TOYota Drive campaign managed to collect three truckloads and two car loads of new toys at Santa’s workshop, this year expecting to break the record by using a truck parked at the Village Green Centre until December 27th and the other one at various events and locations around town as listed bellow:
