Saleen S7 Twin Turbo Looking for a New Owner

America may have been a founding nation for all things automotive, but America's first production supercar landed in 2000 in the form of the Saleen S7. This ultra rare and powerful beast that resembles the iconic McLaren F1 is one very exciting and scary ride and now you can own one for just $430,000.

Considering the least expensive Saleen S7 in Twin Turbo guise will set you back over $555,000, the previously mentioned dough doesn't seem like much considering the car we're talking about today presents itself in pristine condition. At the time this car was launched, almost 10 years ago to be more precise, it trumped rivals such as the legendary Ferrari Enzo by at least 100 horsepower and 200 pound feet of torque.

Finished in Lizstick Red and a cabin as black as the alloy wheels shod with performance rubber, this 2005 example of the breed is fitted with a manual transmission and a big V8 lump mounted at the center, which can deliver up to 850 all-American ponies to the rear wheels. Currently located in Woodlands, Texas, this S7 is showing only 10,325 miles on the odometer, which works out at around 1,000 miles driven per year.

Furthermore, the dealer tells this blown monster has been meticulously maintained and garaged, with the inside and outside in excellent condition. Considering a second-hand Ferrari Enzo or an all-new Venom GT will set you back at least $1 million of your hard earned bucks, this proposition makes more sense than ever. To boot, the S7 is the only Saleen model to date that's not based on an existing Saleen chassis.
