Sakhir Orange BMW F80 M3 Looks Sharp on Z-Performance Wheels

Now that the cat’s out of the bag, every tuner out there seems to be pushing its products using the new M3 and M4 models. The latest one to go down this road is Z-Performance that just shot a video with the F80 M3 riding on one of their wheel sets.

Shot in Hungary, at the Balaton castle, the video shows us the new M car dressed in Sakhir Orange, wearing some ZP.08 wheels with a deep concave design, finished in a nice Matte Gunmetal shade, measuring 20 inches all around and wrapped in Hankook tires.

The price for a set of these wheels is €1,196 or €299 per wheel, if you don’t want the full package. Of course, that doesn’t include the tires that might set you back at least as much, depending on what brand and size you go for.

Considering just how powerful the new M3 is, a set of 20 inch wheels could be a good idea, especially since BMW is offering just 18 or 19 inch alternatives.

With 431 HP and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque heading to the wheels, shredding big chunks of rubber doesn’t look like an issue, at least from where we’re seating.

100 km/h (62 mph) comes in 4.1 seconds if the car was fitted with the DCT gearbox or 0.2 seconds slower for the manual 6-speed, stock models, faster even than the much more powerful (and admittedly heavier) current F10 M5 LCI.

Of course, these are different strokes for different folks after all and the pricing strategy shows it clearly. The M3 starts at $62,000 in the US while the M5 is $92,900 but has all sorts of advantages to its side. Until you make up your mind, check out the video below, you won’t regret it.
