Saab's Bankruptcy Protection Application Rejected

Times are really hard for Saab. Things started going downhill for the Swedish automaker a long time ago and the negative climax was reached yesterday, when the company filed for bankruptcy protection, with the move including a company reorganization.
Unfortunately, west Sweden’s Vanersborg district court has rejected Saab’s application, as Automotive News reports. It seems that the court doesn’t see the idea of a Saab reconstruction as feasible. For now, all Saab could do is release an official statement on the matter, expressing its disappointment with the court’s decision.

We’re not necessarily Saab fans, but we hate it when so many years of automotive history (we’re referring to the good part of Saab’s history) go to waste due to bad management. Let’s hope that things don’t end here.
