S-Class Coupe Concept Draws in the Crowds at the Dubai Motor Show

As strange as it is to see a bunch of men wearing white sheets taking photos of the S-Class Coupe, the charm of this car is without a doubt being proven. And why wouldn’t it get surrounded? When you have the modern shape of a 2014 Mercedes and the sexy silver paint of a classic race car, there’s bound to be interest.

This car is a replacement for the CL coupe, a flagship model that only really has a match with Bentley and Rolls. As a concept, the S-Class Coupe was first shown in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The styling is not identical to that of the regular S-Class, as it is between C- and E-Class models. The nose is altogether more pronounced and sporty, the headlights have something of the SL’s brutishness and some of its coupeish lines are brand new.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s.
