Back in August 2013, just a few weeks after the latest Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG had been revealed, we were reporting that one of the costliest options from the model will not be available for MY2014 cars manufactured until March 2014.
We are of course talking about the carbon ceramic braking system, which was advertised on both the S 63 AMG and the S 65 AMG immediately after they launched, despite the system not being available for several months.
Well, apparently, you won't be able to see the AMG Carbon Ceramic logo on golden caliper in any S 63 or S 65 AMG until mid-April, when the MY2015 cars start becoming available.
Measuring no less than 420x40mm in the front and 360X32 mm in the rear, the AMG carbon-ceramic brake discs are currently the largest ever ever put on an automobile - along with the ones from the Bentley Continental GT Speed.
As some of you know, they are also about 40 percent lighter than conventional iron discs and have a working like about two times longer.
