The result of such a wacky initiative might look like the contraption from the rendering we have here. This pixel portrait shows a 2020 Neunelfer that features the kind of wide fenders we've come to associate with the Japanese aftermarket specialist.
Now, as the keen-eyed among you might have noticed, we've talked about such a pixel fantasy before. However, the livery of that virtual build dominated the scenery and that's because it involved the Stella Artois skin of the black 930 that started it all.
This time around, though, the machine features what appears to be a chameleon take, even though at least a part of the eye candy we have here seems to come thanks to the lighting.
Oh, and the rear bumper removal is here for a reason. You see, the posterior of this eighth-generation Neunelfer now accommodates the flat-twelve motor of the infamous 917K racecar.
What are the chances of such a rendering becoming a build? On the one hand, Akira Nakai, the gear head behind the RWB label, now includes water-cooled 911s on his list, as the gear head had only worked on air-cooled models in the past.
On the other hand, installing those massive extra panels means cutting into the fenders of the vehicle and since the 992 starts at just under $100,000, this aspect might just get in the way.
However, once the 992 Neunelfer ages and its price eventually drops, a RWB build appears inevitable. For instance, the past few years have seen the Japanese aftermarket specialist increasing in popularity and the same can be said about the tuning culture altogether, so the said conclusion is only natural.
