Rusty Polizei Wrap Porsche Cayman GT4 Is How to Troll the Police from Abroad

We've already established the fact that Porsche 911 GT3 RS, as well as Cayman GT4 owners have a fetish for gifting their Zuffenhausen machines with wraps that mean these Porsches can't be ignored, even when we're talking about people who have nothing to do with cars.

And we're here to bring you the latest example of that, which comes from the GT4 in the images to your right. This GT Division delight mixes two main trends of the wrap world.

The first has to do with one of the oldest tricks in the book, namely imitating a police force from another country. While the name of the German Polizei shows up on the car, this was wrapped (and is probably driven) in the Czech Republic, by a specialist called Wrap Style.

Alex Roy has made the move popular back in the 2000s with his Gumball 3000-scarrying Polizei E39 M5, but we've recently shown you another manifestation of the trend involving faux French Gendarmerie attires for a Ferrari 458 Speciale and a Lamborghini Huracan - the two were engaged in a rally that took the across Europe, but, to the best of our knowledge, weren't used in France. Still, the name of the team that came up with the scheme is Team Gendarmerie de Saint Tropez.

Then there's the rusty part of the wrap. We'll start by applauding the accuracy of the second skin job, which could probably convince many that this Porsche has been kept in salty water ever since its delivery.

Along with what appear to be rubber marks in the proximity of the wheels, the fake rust gives this clutch special a beater look. And it's far from the first time when a GT Porscha goes for such an approach. Heck, given the stunning visual effect such wraps deliver, we're pretty sure it won't be the last, either.
