Filling one’s car up with fuel is one of the most basic things that a driver will ever have to face. You pull up to the pump, unlock the fuel-filler cap and then just slot in the nozzle and squeeze. However, it seems that with ‘modern man’ being so busy with the ‘every day stuff’, even the simple act of filling up is turned into a difficult chore.
Take this Russian woman who drives off in her Audi A3 with the nozzle still in the tank, pulling the whole mechanism along with it, and setting the actual pump assembly on fire. It honestly looks quite dangerous to have an open flame like that, right next to the pumps, but unlike the movies have taught us, it does not blow up.
The woman predictably gets scared and runs away, leaving the nozzle still in her tank, so that the flame could spread to her car - not a very smart move on her part. The video is not long enough for us to see the whole event, but we’re sure it was not pleasant for either party.
