The carbon fiber "Vantage" body kit made by Russian tuners TopCar is as famous as their crocodile leather interior. But there's always room for something different, so how about a Cayenne with 911 headlights?
You guys are looking at the exclusive first glimpses of the Cayenne Advantage, the next big project coming from Russia… with love.
It will take them at least a few more months before the first prototype is ready, so we don't have any details. But as you can clearly see, those are 911 headlights on there. There's also a hint of GT3 design in that vented bonnet.
TopCar isn't the first company to take sportscar bits and glue them on the Cayenne. We believe the guys at RUF may have beaten them to the cake with the "Dakara", which was based on the first-generation 4x4.
The visual impact is tremendous. Most people will take a second and third glance at this thing, wondering what kind of chimera monster they are staring at.
Of course, we don't approve of the treatment, but it's been going on since the beginning of the auto industry. There are other changes, like the new bumpers, side skirts, massive wings, and spoilers.
There's some funkiness going on at the back as well. For starters, the 3D taillights are from the smaller Macan SUV. After that, the Russians added not one but two spoilers to the tailgate and a large carbon-fiber diffuser.
This charade wouldn't be complete without larger wheels with slim tires and air vents in the rear doors, which fool you into thinking the engine is at the back.
We want to give TopCar a hard time over this weird project, but in reality, we can't wait to see it finished and on the road.
