When the fleeing rider cannot escape the visual contact with the police giving chase, things are kind of already over. And that is because the street is the only place where such bikes can ride fast, but cops can build road blocks and things come to an unhappy ending.
In case the runaway rider tries to lose the police car by driving on anything else than clean asphalt, he or she will also get caught, as sport bikes tend to crash almost by themselves on such surfaces. Perpetrators lose again.
