Russian Pedestrian is Right to Be Angry, But Is Violence the Answer?

Pedestrians in Russia have a hard and perilous life, as drivers treat crosswalks and traffic lights with complete disregard for both their safety, and the safety of others. Even when several people have gathered and are waiting to cross the street, drivers will refuse to let them pass - the notion of common sense is not very common, it seems.
Take this Russian pedestrian, who is trying to cross the street. He waits for the lights to turn green, then he crosses. However, the car with the dash-mounted camera was approaching a bit too quickly, and it touches the pedestrian under heavy braking, giving him what really is a minor bump.

Of course the driver is at fault here, and he should have paid better attention to the road, in order to have the necessary time to stop safely. However, the pedestrian gets really angry, and while the feeling is motivated, the fact that he rips the car`s grille ornament off, then karate-kicks the left light are not excusable in any way.
