As a mother, a woman is no longer responsible just for herself, and whenever she is out with her child or children, she needs to be ten times more careful and aware. This Russian mom is nothing like that, and she endangers her kids (and almost gets them severely injured or even killed) by crossing a non-lit stretch of road, in the dead of night, and in heavy traffic.
The driver of the car with the dash-mounted camera is driving along normally, not speeding or being reckless. He also shows that he was very attentive and careful, because the moment he sees the sleigh, and the moment he has to react are separated by around a second, and he still has time to react and avoid disaster.
