Has anybody ever told you a story where you thought he was both lucky and unlucky at the same time? You know, something along the lines of "she got pregnant on our first date, but we fell in love later and lived happily ever after" or "she ran me over with her car, but we really hit it off"?
Well this guy is like that and his story will no doubt entertain his grandkids if he ever gets to have any. While standing on the sideline of a highway intersection he very narrowly avoids being hit by a car that was just involved in a major accident. If he'd have been sitting an inch further in either direction, a trip to the hospital would have been inevitable.
The accident started when a brand new Nissan Qashqai decided to cut off a big truck and make a left turn. This dangerous maneuver results in a predictable crash, which sends the crossover in the direction of our pedestrian hero. Bits of the bumper and taillight come flying off, but none of them manage to hurt him.
We were tempted to say that the Russian man didn't move because he was terrified. But moments after the crash, he's cursing away at the two drivers and walks away without a hint of trepidation in his step.
