We really don’t know why Russian drivers hate trams so much. Maybe it’s because they can drift better, or because they cause more spectacular crashes than they ever could. Trams rival buses and trucks for spectacularly violent crashes.
So, we may have an answer as to why this driver, despite clearly seeing the tram up ahead, just floors the throttle and goes for it. This guy definitely not a tram lover, in fact, we would say that he is the exact opposite of a tram lover.
Thankfully, despite hitting the aforementioned tram rather violently, the crash didn’t end badly for any of the parties involved, except the car.
Instead of hitting the tram, maybe he should have used it to get around. At least there would have been one less tram-hating maniac on the roads of Russia.
