Russian Driver Discovers Dangers of Snowstorm Driving the Hard Way

Visibility, or rather lack of it, is a very serious issue faced by drivers around the world. Heavy rain, snow, fog and even extreme darkness are very dangerous for driving and a great deal of accidents occur as a direct result.
This crash can be attributed partly to the extremely severe snowstorm and fog, and partly to the (truck) driver, who was driving much too quickly. He failed to see that there were cars stopped up ahead, and when he does notice the blocked road, he does brake, but it is too little, too late.

He also almost runs over another driver, who was just getting out of his car - thankfully, he jumps to safety, and the truck uses the car as a buffer, to slow down. There really was not that much the driver of the truck could do, aside from trying to anticipate the situation.

Still, it is a good thing that nobody got hurt, in the end, and while the damage to the first car the truck hits may be extensive, it was probably not a write-off.
