Welcome to Siberia, where it’s raining fire and cars pass each other while burning. While Russia’s Bermuda Triangle is usually associated with all things frozen, its unimaginable size means there are parts of it that can get extremely hot. Especially when there’s a wildfire.
The footage below captures all that in what has to be the mother of all Mother Russia dash cam videos. Apocalyptic is an understatement for the scenes captured here, which show a group of cars caught in a fiery inferno part of the wildfires that engulfed the Russian town of Chita on Sunday, as the Youtube comments explain.

Every year, Russian farmers set grassland fires to prepare the land for spring planting, with the vicious wind sometimes spreading this beyond control, but on this occasion things escalated to a whole new level.

In fact, the fire spread throughout the entire Zabaykalsky region, situated in Eastern Siberia, at the border of China and Mongolia. The inferno started earlier this month and by April 15 spread across 138 thousand acres. At least 23 people were killed while 900 were injured, and 5,000 were left homeless.

Russian President Vladimir Putin coordinated the firefighting operations, with Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchov explaining 6,000 firemen, along with an aircraft, were dispatched in the area.

However, Greenpeace blames the authorities for the chaos, as the burning of dry grass after snow melts should’ve been foreseen, with preparation measures supposed to prevent the fire from spreading to such an extent.

Returning to the clip below, we know Russians are tough drivers and this is one occasion on which their daily traffic crash course appears to have served them well. The video at the bottom of the page will give you a better view of the overall situation.
