After seeing so many videos from their own country, in which not paying attention to one’s surroundings can lead to very serious and violent crashes, Russian drivers should have become more aware of the dangers of driving while thinking about something else - driving requires focus and concentration, even after having done it for years.
In this video, both the Lada driver and the bus driver had green lights (apparent malfunction of the lights), and the car comes up in front of the bus, and its driver never stood a chance of seeing the driver, let alone braking. However, the Lada driver was lucky, because the bus hit the front part of the car, and therefor it absorbed much of the impact, without sending it back into the passenger compartment.
After things settle down, we can clearly see that both the driver and the passenger from the crashed car were not injured. If the car had accelerated a bit quicker, then the bus would have hit the passenger compartment head on, and the video would not have been one which we would have liked to show...
