The Juke crossover will go down in history as one of the ugliest Nissans ever made. Some say it looks like a frog, others compare it to a bulldog. However, we will forever remember the day when they unveiled the Juke-R.
By stuffing a GT-R engine and drivetrain into the little body the Juke, Nissan created a fantasy car for its loyal fans. Shortly after, they sent it down to Abu Dhabi where it raced Ferraris and Lamborghinis. Not surprisingly, five rich individuals thought it was cool enough to spend €500,000 on their own Juke-R and Nissan was only too willing to oblige.

But for a group of Russian speed fanatics, the 500 horsepower engine Nissan offered simply wasn't enough and so the fake Juke-R was born, with over 800 horsepower tuned into its twin-turbo engine.

We've seen what it can do in a straight line at the Moscow Mile. However, the Russians actually built their Juke-R as a track car to lap the Green Hell. The guys at Bridge to Gantry recently got in touch and asked if they could film a video from the passenger seat of the car. Driver and owner Vladimir Ulanov was only too willing to oblige and on a wet Nurburgring, this white knuckle ride was recorded.

Below the video, you'll be able to find just a short list of things SV Engineering did to the Juke. And remember, this is only the prototype.

-safety cage
-lightweight cabin
-carbon fiber sport seats
-5-point safety belts
-fire safety system
-sport fuel system

-exhaust system with no catalyst
-at the client’s option: carbon fiber door covering
