This is by far one of the most spectacular crashes we’ve posted in a long time, and not because of its high degree of violence (it’s not violent), or high number of explosions, or even the cheering after a crash - this one is spectacular because the driver of the white BMW ignores the pouring rain, the fact that his car is old and RWD and attempts a sudden lane change.
Sadly for him (and thankfully for all the video’s viewers), the E34 5-Series oversteers, and he somehow mounts the guardrail separating the lanes of traffic, riding it backward in a manner we’ve never seen before. Sadly, the driver filming this wasn’t far enough behind to capture the entire stunt, but it’s enough for us to get a pretty good idea.
Also, we were thankful that the car was given the lightest paint job of them all (white), and it was visible despite the horrid weather and the pouring rain - just look at that perfect grind!
