The actor and stand-up comedian Russell Brand will have to go in court after an LA security guard claimed that he was ran over by the comic.
Shopping plaza security guard Victor Sneed, sued Russell claiming that the actor struck him with his Range Rover, which caused him arm, leg and hip injuries and could not work anymore. The man said that he received £24,000 ($37.400) worth of medical services and he wants an extra £100,000 ($155.700) for possible surgeries that he may need.
Brand denies the accusations and he is ready to go on court next May, as the lawyers need some time to gather evidence. If found guilty, Brand will have to pay about £360,000 ($560.500), including Victor’s demands and legal fees.
