Fancy another premium car that rides like an SUV and looks like a coupe?! There's plenty of choice out there, but none of its is from the land of quattro. Well, let us tell you that the Audi Q4 is on its way to production in the new Volkswagen plant in Foshan, China, at least according to local media reports. The rumors is hard to fathom, especially since there has never been a sighting of this vehicle or reports of it actually being developed.
But apparently, the new Q4 is the company’s latest crossover and stands as a rival to the forthcoming BMW X4 that will be available sometime later this year. This is also puzzling because the Q3 is more of a BMW X1 rival in terms of size. Unfortunately, the guys from Audi are keeping all the Q4 details in check, no official pictures of the vehicle in testing being available.

Even so, we still have some information on the long awaited car. The crossover coupe will be based on the new MLB platform, the standard 2.0TFSI and 3.0TFSI Audi engines likely being offered to the Chinese customer.
