While Valentino Rossi remains the most charismatic and one of the most talented individuals to ever straddle a motorbike, he has faded from the life of a constant Moto GP podium finisher and race winner.
However, according to motorcycledaily.com, he may still have a chance to “be on a competitive bike next year” and this is confirmed by an additional article from motoquotidien.com which quotes the Vice President of Honda Racing Corporation (HRC), Shuhei Nakamoto, as saying “For next year, it was not possible to integrate Rossi into the official Repsol team, but I am willing to offer him an official bike in a satellite team.

Current riders for the Repsol Honda team are Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez and, apparently, Rossi cannot budge either of them. However, despite pledging his loyalty to Ducati (and Audi), it would still be nice to see Valentino on the back of a Honda, like in the good old days, when he was number one.
