The new cocktail hamper designed by Rolls-Royce is hand-crafted over a period of eight weeks. The mastermind behind it is Rolls-Royce Accessories Designer Sina Maria Eggl, who consulted with experts from Dorchester Collection’s London Hotels to create this unique Hamper.
As you would expect, it is made from the finest materials such as American walnut wood and natural grain leather, which can also be found in Rolls-Royce cars, making the design of this accessory a notion of supreme luxury.
The special attention that it is being given to Rolls-Royce cars is also noticeable in this unique accessory. As soon as you open the Navy-Blue leather-bound lid, an automated integrated light illuminates the hamper, reflecting from the mirrored surfaces just to evoke the design of a luxurious bar. The entire equipment required to create the perfect cocktail is lying in front of you.
Inside, a paring knife is magnetically housed in a recess inside the hamper to be transported and stored in safety and without disturbance. Two dishes found their place beside an ice bucket, and fine cotton napkins together with recipe cards are being held in discreet drawers.
The upper part of the hamper is made out of Golden Sand colored leather and decorated with polished aluminum, and it contains tumblers, decanters and a shaker.
A muddler finished in American walnut and a strainer engraved with the “RR” monogram are securely stored on a specially developed moveable rack. A book that contains a series of cocktail recipes inspired by the marque’s heritage can also be found inside the hamper.
The glasses themselves are being hand-crafted in one month, using a time-honored technique by which the glass is blown into beech-wood molds, and because they are handmade, no two glasses are the same.
The price for this exclusive accessory from Rolls-Royce has not been set, but it was stated that only 15 hampers will be produced and can be bought from one of the 130 Rolls-Royce dealerships across the globe.
