The Rolls-Royce Ghost will apparently be the basis for “two or more” versions, with the aim of completing the range. Speaking to Torsten Müller-Ötvös, autocar.co.uk discovered that the company is expecting to improve on last year’s sales figure of 3,538 units, banking on a figure around the 4,000 mark.
We say at least one of the spinoffs will be a China-specific model, as the PRC has driven Rolls’ sales up by 31% last year - an unprecedented growth figure for such an exclusive manufacturer. Another Ghost variant will undoubtedly be a high-performance Coupe version, which will make its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, set to take place next March.

The 600 hp car will undoubtedly be the star of the Rolls-Royce stand and it will probably be the first ever sporty Roller - will get a shorter wheelbase as well as lowered and stiffened suspension.

We are still curious if they have truly ruled out the idea of putting a diesel under the bonnet of one of their cars - the Phantom may be ‘too exclusive for diesel’, but the Ghost would be an even better car with a diesel under the bonnet.
