With the Rolls-Royce Cullinan having already received a warm welcome, we could see the Spirit of Ecstasy being placed on an SUV again in the future. Nevertheless, it seems that certain drivers are determined to home-brew their RR terrain tamers.
Case in point with the contraption we've brought along for today. As you'll be able to notice in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, we're dealing with a Rolls-Royce monster truck.

Look past the super-sized wheels and you'll notice what appears to be a Phantom Drophead Coupe on stilts. Sure, the quality of the video is poor, so we can't be entirely sure of the vehicle's details. But, judging by what we can see here, this appears to be an actual Rolls-Royce rather than a replica.

And, if we zoom in on the sides of the machine, we'll even notice some flames, albeit coming in the kind of colors that don't make them all that obvious.

The vehicle even demonstrated its offroading might in the clip, as it tackles a speed bump without breaking a sweat. And we can say the same about the man hanging outside the car, who might just be planning a Mad Max cosplay (think: Fury Road).

Of course, there are plenty of questions that remain unanswered. For one thing, why would anybody do this to a Goodwood machine - is online fame important enough to ruin a Roller in such fashion?

And while we're talking rugged terrain matters, we'd be curious to check out the offroad abilities of the machine. How would the thing fair against the Sherp?

If you're wondering what a Sherp is, you can get your answer in the second piece of footage below, which shows the Russian go-anywhere compact truck duking it out with a few monster trucks (you'll find the performance of the Sherp at the 7:43 point of the clip).
