With the 23rd annual edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed ongoing, you’ll be hearing a lot about luxury, high-end autos especially designed for the occasion. As one of the veterans of the show, Rolls-Royce is once again pulling the big guns as the British limousine manufacturer created special Ghost Series II and Wraith for the event.
Let the show begin and the cars rev their engines off! Well, not literally, because we all clearly want to see them beauties stick to one piece, but you know what we mean. As we said, Ghost Series and Wraith will be on familiar turf, with Goodwood House within sight of the Home of Rolls-Royce.

The first will take the role of the Course Car this year. Finished in Diamond Black, the premium auto comes with the interior in Black and contrasting Hotspur Red leather and Black Stained Ash veneer.

The Brits say the contemporary design for the roof-mounted race lights was handcrafted in aluminum at the manufacturing plant.

David Monks, the Chief Tester at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, will be driving the vehicle and visitors will have the chance to admire it on the course between each Hillclimb Run throughout the weekend.

Moving forward to the second special guest of the show. Rolls-Royce has designed a unique Wraith they have finished in Ensign Red with contrast silver, with the interior in Black, Seashell and contrasting Hotspur Red leather and a machined metal facia. “The Coach doors open to reveal Canadel Panelling in Tudor Oak, named after the famous Canadel cove in the South of France where Sir Henry Royce and his design and engineering teams spent their winters,” the automaker details.

As we said, both cars were built specifically for the event and feature unique license plates that read: “Hand built in Goodwood, England for the Festival of Speed 2015”.
