These days, everything from Acuras to Zondas are supposed to come with luxury fittings. In the case of the Japanese brand, than means a button to start your engine with, while the hypercar maker will trim your interior with carbon fiber.
But there’s a bunch of folks from England that actually do luxury like in the old days, with big cars that way over two tones, plus they are never in a hurry to get round a corner. They are called Rolls Royce, and the place you usually run into them is not your local cars and coffee, rather a million dollar country retreat or a billion dollar hotel.
Just look at it - the Ghost is not is not big and vulgar, it’s stylish and elegant in very simple ways. Do you see carbon fiber, aftermarket wheels or a big wing? Of course you don’t, because this is a rare breed of luxury: traditional luxury.
Can you order an M Sport pack or a flappy paddle gearbox? No, and that’s how it should be.
