A Rolls Royce that has been developed at the Nurburgring? Oh dear, what has the world? Will it have a rev counter, a DCT gearbox with paddle shifts or a “Sport” button? What will James May do when he hears about this!
All these questions will have to remain unanswered until Rolls Royce reveals the newest and sportiest car in a long time. This coupe version of the smaller Ghost saloon has been spotted undergoing testing at the Nurburgring.

This video released by FastSportscarDriver shows the tires squealing under the strain. And there is a justification for this, as the Ghost four-door weighs in at 2.5 tons. However, the coupe is rumored to have about 600 horsepower, which means 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds, comparable to the W12 Continental.

We also have fresh spyshots of the car from our spy photographers stationed at the Nurburgring, giving us a much clearer view of the car. The engineers have tried to make it look like a BMW with a double grille at the front, and a couple of fake doors.

On a personal note, we want to what know if this V12 leviathan is doing on the track: 5 mpg... 1 mpg?

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
