Luxury British carmaker Rolls-Royce has taken the Internet wraps off another special edition car which will debut shortly at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show.
It's called the Rolls-Royce Ghost Alpine Trial Centenary Edition and as you might have guessed from the picture, it celebrates something from the company's glorious past. In fact, this lovely blue creature announces the passing of a full century since Rolls-Royce's entry in the 1913 Alpine Trial.

The Ghost draws design cues from James Radley's Silver Ghost which took part in the historic 1820 mile (2929 km) long event.

The interior features a new style of veneer and etching a long graphic that expresses the topography and distances of the Alpine route. The typical Rolls clock has been modified with semicircles that denote the length of each stage of the original rally.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
