We don't know if you guys spotted the trend, but 2018 has been all about two things, SUVs and drag racing... or SUV drag racing. And the perfect way to end it all is with a battle between two of the mightiest, most expensive models you will ever see.
Rolls-Royce can be considered the most luxurious brand in the world. But while it has agreed to dilute itself with coupes for rappers, developing an SUV took way too long. Some might argue that they haven't been unsuccessful as well, and I guess that could be true from a special point of view.

As we've mentioned already, the drag race has become the yardstick by which all cars are measured. And in that regard, the Bentayga is superior to the Cullinan. This is by no means unexpected, as Bentley has always made the sportier car.

A drag race video shot at dusk on some UK track is never going to stop Kanye West or all the Middle East princes from buying a Cullinan. Why? Because it's more expensive, more unobtainable, which makes you feel like you're higher up on the totem pole.

Specs go well with a story like this, like a side dish. So we'll mention that the victor is equipped with a 6.0-liter TSI W12 making 608 PS. It also weighs 2,440kg before options and its launch system can supposedly send you to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

Rolls-Royce can justify the 2,660kg weight with the most luxurious ride in the word. The Cullinan's power reserve comes from a 6,749cc (6.7-liter) V12 engine with 571 PS. It's about a second slower to 100 km/h which if you think about it means a Golf R will take it down.

But what's even weirder is that you wouldn't need the W12 Bentayga to win this. A regular V8 with 550 PS would do 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds while the diesel model would need 4.8s.
