Famous british luxury brand Rolls Royce has announce that it will enter the South American market as part of its growing offensive to capture more of the emerging market share across the world. The company’s current CEO, Torsten Uller-Otvos, was in the region to talk to the future dealers in Brazil and Chile, while also meeting the local customers and automotive journalists.

“I am delighted to announce our plans for entry into the South American market. Brazil and Chile have seen impressive economic growth, with an increasing demand from discerning customers for pinnacle luxury products. Rolls-Royce is growing very successfully in a number of fast-growing emerging markets and it is therefore appropriate that we have a strong presence in Brazil and Chile,”
said Torsten Muller-Otvos, speaking in Sao Paulo.

Via Italia Group will be the Rolls Royce dealer in Brazil, while Williamson Balfour Motors, a member of the Inchcape Group and headed by Peter Aberle, is Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ future dealer in Chile. South American customers can look forward to new dealerships opening by March 2012.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
