Inspired by the awesome art of the Bandito Brothers, here's the newest Roland Sands Design custom Harley-Davidson, a beast that's born to be ridden hard even if... it will buck off its rider at times.
Roland wanted to create a bike that's as extreme and uncompromising as the art of the Banditos Bros, so the RSD Bandito came to life. Emerging from a Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic, the initial machine was devoided of all non-necessary parts. After taking a good look at it, the builders started to add some of these parts back, sparingly - only what could help the final design found a place on the Bandito.
The new racer got the prototyped Tracker narrow fender kit and a Boss seat, a Nostalgia breather cap, Slant Carbon exhaust, and Pro-Step bars. The front fender remained unused, while the front enf of the Bandito got some vintage-style boots. And to make things radical, the headlight was welded into a sheet metal to the top of the fork.
The see-through cylinder heads are as cool as they get, and the riding position on the RSD Bandito screams its longing for the speedway. And it also raced.. and crashed once: luckily, both beast and tamer walked away with just a few scratches.
