With a simple layout and zero frills, the Star Bolt quickly drew attention: its svelte lines and compact, sporty design have been noticed by many a rider. And it's exactly such features which allowed Roland Sands to easily transform the Bolt into a bike with a strong racing attire.

The nicest thing of all is that RSD needed no hacking and no sawing: aside form the fiberglass rear end, the rest of the components are bolt-on additions. This makes a transformation faster, easier to perform and cheaper, while also shaving some weight off the bike. And when the focus is on speed and power, this is simply awesome.

Basically, the headlight and fenders were tossed, new front plate and side covers easily manufactured, anodized 19" rims replacing the OEM ones and now shod with Dunlop flattrack tires. The Bolt now breathes through RSD Slant intake and exhaust, while pegs, bars, risers, grips and covers are all bolt-on RSD parts.

It probably doesn't get any simplet and faster than this, especially as the tank is also stock. Sweet!
