While adventure riding or long hauls may require motorcyclists to carry a GPS unit, casual trips can be plotted on most smartphones, and RockForm knows this very well. They're introducing their latest motorcycle mount for mobile phones, not exactly imaginatively called v3.
The RockForm v3 mount comes in two flavors: for bar and for fork leg mounting. While the former can be easily loaded on any handlebars 7/8" to 1-1/4" (22 – 32 mm) thick, the latter will fit 50mm or 53mm fork clamps. The special design makes the RockForm v3 easy to install on pretty much any motorcycle, from superbikes to cruisers, H-D or metric.
Made from 6061 billet aluminium, and CNC-machined, these mounts offer complete freedom of movement so that you can place the smartphone in pretty much any position.
Secured in place with the corresponding case, smartphones benefit from the v3 magnet retention kit and a third level of security with the included lanyard. A RokSack weather guard is also provided for riding in the wet.
Easy to use and manufacturer with much care for details, the RockForm v3 mount and corresponding cases are a nifty addition to the bikes of those who use cellphones for navigation or just want to keep an eye on their phones while riding.
