2013 marks the 13th consecutive year of donations made by MINI for the Life Ball. Every year, the British company, donated a car for a famous designer to add its unique touch and transform it into a piece of history.
The cars are sold at an auction afterwards and all the proceeds go to the AIDS Solidarity Gala in Vienna's Hofburg Palace. This year, the one responsible with designing a MINI Paceman was none other than the legendary Roberto Cavalli.
Together with his wife he unveiled its creation in Vienna on Saturday. Looking at the transformed MINI you'll immediately recognize the Cavalli style. He upgraded the exterior by using an exclusive color, an iridescent paint that shimmers between black and brown depending on the light source.
The roof has been decorated with the Cavalli logo and the designer's signature is now painted on the doors of the Sports Activity Coupe. The logo can also be found stitched on the headrests and the sun visors once you enter the car.
Actually, the whole interior has been redesigned and is now upholstered in special black leather with the hallmark Cavalli animal prints on the leather-lined steering wheel and parts of the instruments.
