It seems that Robert’s fame and popularity with the ladies has skyrocketed after the breakup with Kristen. It’s not like he’s going to need it anyway, because the Twilight franchise has made him an A-lister recognized the world over, not to mention very rich.
But the fame isn’t going to the British actor’s head, and he’s not spending the millions he earns like a rapper. You know - the ‘spend it like it’s going to rot’ behaviors. He doesn’t have a huge Beverly Hills mansion, in fact he doesn’t have a house that he owns.
Last night, Pattinson was on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and he talked about his cars. So, can you guess what he drives - a Rolls, a Bentley or a Lamborghini? No.
He says he buys all of his cars on Craigslist. A few months ago, he picked up a 2001 Silverado pickup (picture above), which he now wants to sell. He even haggled and bought it for just $2,500.
“The first car I ever bought was $1,000,” he said about a 1989 BMW he owns. “I thought I negotiated it myself, but I just got reminded that I had just moved to L.A. and I turned up with my agent and my manager literally to negotiate the price of a $1,000 car.”
That car blew up last year. Just shows you what a junker it must have been.
