Road Rage: Man Run Over by Cab Driver in Montreal

Last Sunday (April 29th) an incident occurred in Montreal between a cab driver and his passengers. The altercation apparently started when one of the cabbie's passengers slammed the door after getting out of the car, with the situation finally reaching an extreme level of violence.
The slamming of the door apparently fueled both sides' rage which finally culminated - unfortunately - with the 23 year old man getting run over by the cab driver as the cabbie was trying to get away from the scene and whose rage was fueled by the fact that the other passengers were now throwing debris at his cab. At one point, an unidentified man starts jumping up and down on the roof of the cab, further fueling the driver’s rage.

Thankfully, the young man who was run over survived and his condition is now stable despite being seriously injured. The cabbie sped off but was later identified and is now under arrest awaiting his bail hearing which is due on Wednesday.

Please note that this video shows the 23 year-old man getting run over in graphic detail, so if you’re not ready for that, don’t watch the clip.
