Two Brits are stuck in traffic and one of them tries to shame the other for using his phone while at the wheel, which, as we all know, is illegal.

This could be the beginning of a hilarious joke, but it’s the premise of a new fit of road rage registered on the roads in the UK. It wasn’t a violent one (this time), so we can laugh at how creative these 2 gentlemen are with their insults without feeling guilty.

The incident happened during rush hour on the A19 near Newcastle-upon-Tyne and video of it is available at the bottom of the page. It was filmed by George Dunkerley, who tells the Daily Mail he was pretty much “assaulted” by the driver of the red car.

What we don’t see in the video is the moment the other driver told Dunkerley that he should be ashamed for using his phone while driving. Legally speaking, you can only do that if you pull over and stop the engine; otherwise, you’re liable for a fine, even if you’re stuck in traffic or at the drive-thru.

Dunkerley denies that he was using his phone when the other guy started to shout at him so, in order to have proof of harassment, he turned his camera on to film the exchange. In the process, he filmed himself getting into a near-competition of creative insults, which included him suggesting the man “boil his head in a pan” of pee.

“I'd been fighting with my lass so I was at boiling point before this fool pulled alongside me,” Dunkerley tells the Mail. “There was nothing going on beforehand and he just started shouting. He must have been having a bad day and decided to take it out on me.”

For the way he handled it, he’s just as much to blame as the other guy, commenters online are saying. You be the judge.
