RM Auctions Buys Bator Vintage Motorcycle Auctions

The newly established Auctions America by RM, a subsidiary of RM Auctions formed less than one year ago, has recently expanded with the addition of a vintage motorcycle division. Specifically, the company has recently acquired Bator Vintage Motorcycle Auctions, which will be led by classic and antique motorcycle expert, Glenn Bator.

Glenn Bator has been restoring all types of motorcycles for a number of years, with a specialty in pre and post World War I American machines. He is also known for having organized motorcycle shows and staging auctions at such prime venues as the Barber Vintage Festival and the Daytona Classic Motorcycle Auction held during 'Bike Week'. Previously, Glenn held the position of curator, restorer and general manager for the Otis Chandler Vintage Museum.

The first event that will involve the new division will be the second annual 'Auburn Fall Collector Car Auction' scheduled September 1 – 4, 2011, which will bring some 1,000 quality motorcars and motorcycles to the auction podium.

"The establishment of a dedicated motorcycle division for our company is in direct response to our clients' interests and requests,"
states Donnie Gould, President, Auctions America by RM. "We're thrilled to have Glenn Bator on board. His extensive industry knowledge will make Auctions America by RM events the premier venues for both buyers and sellers of classic two wheelers."

"I am extremely pleased to be joining the Auctions America by RM team,"
adds Glenn Bator. "The union of RM's excellent organization and customer base with Bator's loyal customers will no doubt produce world-class vintage motorcycle auctions."
