Wild trails mean a ton of fun for those who venture in such places. However, even the most powerful ATVs are no match for the energy of large quantities of flowing water.
And this is exactly the lesson the guy in this video learned: river crossing is fun, as long as you don't get swept away by the current. Thankfully, the guy managed to remain on the quad: being flipped by the stream and with the ATV coming his way would have been quite a nasty scenario.
Too bad the footage ends before a solution was found... and we don't believe that the guy switched to reverse and had the river help him get momentum to make it to the shore...
