One of the companies that will certainly impress at this year’s Geneva Auto Show is Rinspeed, which will introduce a long list of goodies. The company’s most recent announcement lets us know that it has played with the Mitsubishi iMiEV and will offer us two modified incarnations of the Japanese EV.
We are talking about Rinspeed-customized iMiEV twins, a bright yellow one ans a matte red one, with the exterior colors coming from Akzo Nobel. The vehicles also sport Foliatec carbon-fiber films on the front, roof and rear. In addition to that, the Swiss company has also installed a H&R lowering suspension and installed a set of three-piece Works rims that use Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.
The interior is a story with colorful topstitching and playful variations, using black, red and yellow, mixing masculine and feminine notes. It also uses a set of sporty features like Sparco shifter and pedals, as well as Recaro Cross Sporster CS seats.
The list of goodies also includes gadgets, such as HTC “Flyer” tablet computer and Harman multimedia equipment with multifunctional connectivity.
“Both twins are also always in close contact with the charging stations and charging infrastructure of electricity giant RWE. Did you know that the first RWE charging station outside the European Union is in Switzerland? It is located in the vicinity of Zurich, in Zumikon, on the premises of Rinspeed,” stated the press release.
autoevolution will be attending the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
