Rimac Automobilli Teases Electric Supercar for Frankfurt

The world of electric vehicles is growing every day, so its only natural that the supercar segment stats welcoming vehicles that rely on electrons to deliver top thrills. The latest development of this kind comes from Rimac Automobilli, which recently announced that it will release an EV supercar concept at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show. The company is also offering us a video teaser of the car.

We are talking about serious electric muscle here, as the vehicle is expected to be powered by four electric motors, which will be mounted inside its wheels and should offer a total output of 1,088 hp and 3,800 Nm. And the stunning numbers keep coming, as the company promises that we will get a range of over 370 miles (600 km).

The vehicle will tip the scales at 1,650 kg, so we will be dealing with mind-blowing performance. But wait, Rimac Automobili goes as far as claiming that the car will only need 2.8 seconds to complete the 0 to 62 mph sprint and it will offer an electronically-limited top speed of 189.5 mph (305 km/h).

What can we say, considering the numbers, we’ll take this one with a grain of salt. Judging by what we see in the video, it all seems plausible, but we have to see it to believe it, especially if we think that we are in the era of soap bubble supercar announcements. You can watch the video below and enjoy the details.
