As Rihanna Shines Bright Like a Diamond, Jay-Z’s record company make a lot of extra cash to wrap up 2012 on a high not.
Rihanna signed with with Jay-Z’s ROC Nation back in October 2010, when she parted ways with manager Marc Jordan.
ROC has taken good care of Rihanna and turned her into one of the biggest names in the industry. But they were still thankful enough for her work, and wanted to reward her with a brand new car.
Last time we saw the young singer drive something, it was a boring old Suzuki Jimny, but now, she’ll have the right swag to keep up with her boy Chris Brown, who owns more supercars than we can count.
Presumably given to her as a Christmas gift, Rihanna’s new ride is a Porsche 911 Turbo S, most like a Cabrio at that. The most powerful convertible that Porsche makes is offered with a 530 hp 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine that pushes the car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 195 mph or 314 km/h.
