Presuming that traffic will be alright is wrong when aboard a motorcycle, at least this is what real-life statistics tell us. It's always healthier to anticipate that things will go wrong and be ready to prevent a crash, than the other way around, experience has shown.
This crash is the perfect example for all the above, as what seems to be a common traffic situation in the first place turns out to be a "disguised trap".
The rider is the only one to blame in this crash, as the video shows him trying to filter through stuck traffic. Nothing wrong here, we all split lanes in similar scenarios. However, he fails utterly as he supposes that once on the move, the truck in front of him will keep on going.
Having eliminated from his mind the possibility that the truck stopped, the rider is left with absolutely no preset scenario to avoid a crash. So he crashes.
Needless to say this is a terribly dumb accident 100% avoidable, if only the rider thought twice.
