Here's just the right proof for all those riders who believe that they're such great stunters on the public roads: they're definitely not, and accidents DO happen.
It's the case of this guy who messes up a wheelie while riding on a public roadway and crashes in the middle of the street. He seems unscathed, though certainly a bit bruised, yet walks away from this almost miraculously.
Unfortunately, some police officers witnessed all the commotion from a nearby patrol car and are also alerting a motorcycle colleague of theirs. As the occasional stunt man is back on his bike and obviously trying to start it and lose the cops, we can clearly see one of the policeman reaching for his holster and this was probably more than enough proof for the rider to give up his plans to flee.
In the end it's better to get fined and deal with it, than being charged with running away or even shot at. We too believe a wheelie is not worth that much.
