An avid motorcycle rider, Mechanicsburg Billy Standley's last wish was carried out by his family: he was buried on his very 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, in a special plexiglass casket he devised himself.
As weird such a thing may seem to some, Billy's wish carries his love for motorcycles beyond the boundary between life and death, and represents a glorious final ride.

It appears like Billy Standley has planned this moment since 18 years ago, family says. He even secured the proper burial slots in Fairview Cemetery in Mutual, next to his wife, Lorna.

Standley built his own see-through casket to accommodate him and the bike, and kept it in his garage for 5 years. Standley, 82, was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer, but he succumbed to lung cancer.

A team of 5 embalmers made sure Billy was properly dressed in his leathers and secured to the bike, as the uncanny casket was trailed to the final garage in the Fairview Cemetary.

Weird, but definitely cool way to ride away. Remember the Hayabusa hearse?
