If you are a Walking Dead fan, and this is the first time you hear actor Norman Reedus has his own show about motorcycles, you should immediately go and binge on the whole first season. The rest of you, don’t worry, the show will return in 2017.
Yep, AMC has renewed “Ride with Norman Reedus” for a second season and the fans definitely had their impact on the decision. The actor’s fans started a social media campaign as soon as the first season ended, and we’re talking about a fanbase of around 2.8 million people.

The reaction to ‘Ride’ has been incredibly positive. I am glad to be able to show audiences a different side of me, and we have gotten a great response to the candid conversation and the fact that it’s obviously not scripted,” said Reedus. “I feel like we are just getting started and there are so many amazing places we have yet to go - the opportunities for the show are endless.”

Season one saw Reedus and his guests riding through different adventures taking them to a moonshine distillery, meeting with a high voodoo priestess, riding bikes of the future and even racing porta-potties. The guest list included filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, Mastodon singer and guitarist Brent Hinds, actor Balthazar Getty and even Easy Rider-star Peter Fonda, who also inspired Norman to get into motorcycles.

The upcoming 6-episode season is due to begin in 2017, taking Reedus and more guests back on the road into new adventures to discover amazing places and people. What other personalities will get invited to the show is something we can’t put our finger on at the moment. But you can count in on Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan from The Walking Dead), who not only is into bikes but is also reportedly being in some sort of bromance with Norman.
