The brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R made its official track debut earlier this month, during the 52nd running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the inaugural race of the 2014 Tudor United SportsCar Championship.
The C7.R Corvettes managed only fifth and tenth place finishes in the GTLM class, which was won by CORE Autosport’s Porsche 911 RSR, but the team promises to improve over the next events.
You’ve probably already seen some footage with the C7.Rs running at Daytona, but a new video that surfaced YouTube via Drive provides more than 10 minutes of cockpit action from Tommy Milner’s night practice session.
The video was made using a camera mounted on Milner’s helmet and shows the No. 4 Corvette warming up ahead of the qualifying session. There’s plenty of scrumptious V8 noise in there so make sure you crank up the volume before you hit the play button.
