With only one day left before the big race at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Toyota gives us a look at how practice went with their upgraded TMG EV P002.
The Japanese automaker has upgraded the electric prototype in order to defend their record from last year of 10:15.380.
The P002 received enhanced aerodynamics, by moving the pilot in the middle of the cockpit, which also improves the weight distribution, and two huge wings to keep it pushed on the asphalt at speeds. There were also modifications to the suspension and to the electric motor to improve its dynamics.
To further ensure the team’s success, the EV P002 will be raced by hill-climb legend Rod Millen, the New Zealander pilot which has already won nine times in the famous race. See how practice went in the video bellow.
